Supervisors, Managers, and the cGMPs                                           

 

Overview
 

A workshop that examines what is required and expected of those who supervise and manage operations covered by the cGMP regulations.  Topics can include coaching and consistent reinforcement, staffing, making decisions in a cGMP context, reviewing/checking/witnessing, monitoring activities, and deviations.

 

Objectives
 
  • Identify and discuss the role of supervisors and managers in a GMP facility
  • Identify characteristics of a skilled supervisor or manager
  • Describe actions and decision-making that is in the purview of only certain members of management
  • Given a situation, develop a response that is consistent with good management and Good Manufacturing Practice expectations
 

Instructional Methods

  Presentation, small group activities, and discussion.
