Overview
 

Two types of "GMP thinking" are examined: Responding to problems and assessing proposals, changes, and opportunities. For each type, learners are provided a mnemonic (REACT and ASSESS) and the opportunity of applying the mnemonic to case studies. Workshop can include follow-up coaching sessions to help learners apply what they have learned.

 

Objectives
 
  • Identify two major categories of decisions made in a GMP facility
  • Define REACT and provide examples of how it is used
  • Define ASSESS and provide examples of how it is used
  • Given a situation, apply the REACT and ASSESS models
  • Given a case study, identify where inadequate decisions were taken and the consequences to people and an organization
 

Instructional Methods

  Presentation, case study, small group activities, and discussion.
 
Primary Audience
  Operational, technical, supervisory, and management personnel.
